AOIC Workshop - Christian Counseling

Dr. Evelyn Biles and her team are in Kuching for a 3 days' counseling seminar.


Part of the program in action. The participants will learn counseling skills to become effective counselors.


While everyone is attentive in the class...I caught these 2 chit-chatting behind... JUST KIDDING! Actually I never expected counseling classes can be "fun"!


I would have thought since counseling usually involves somber & serious subjects, the class atmosphere should at the least reflect that sort of "seriousness"... but looking at these bunch, obviously I was wrong. On second thought, facing cheerful-hi-spirited counselors sure beat facing prune-faced-dead-serious ones. Don't you agree?


This is NOT what you think they are doing!

On a more "serious" note, praise the Lord for the overwhelming response. I pray God will raise up more counselors who will operate in the wisdom & spirit of God to help & edify His Church in an effective & biblical way - not just in Kuching but all over the world through the ministry of Dr. Evelyn Biles.


Praise the Lord for Dr. Bile's team, and for the EBC team who helped in taking care of them while they are here in Kuching.

And lastly, I pray they will bring back lots of good memories & pictures too!

Meetings with Dr Paul Ang

Wow! What a glorious and uplifting time we had with Dr Paul and Dr Christina Ang!

We have just concluded our 2 days Kuching Prophetic Conference and the churches in Kuching had been richly blessed and challenged by the prophetic words through Dr.Paul Ang.

Dr Paul gave a timely word for Kuching. His messages came with practical wisdom to help the believers to align themselves with the divine plan of God for Malaysia.

For those of you missed out in these two days meetings,what can we say but hmm.....sayang lah?

Anyway, there is a plan to have Dr Paul Ang and his family back with us again next year.

Remember you are God's masterpiece!

Bro Charlie was back with us last Sunday! He shared a most timely message on the spiritual condition & growth of believers. And I felt like the below verses capture the essence of the crux of the sermon:

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from you fathers,

but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
(1Peter 1:13-19)

Line Dancing Party, May 08

It was LINE DANCING PARTY once more last night at St Faith, Kenyalang, organised by EBC Line Dancing Ministry!


A transformed life - that's the sharing by this young couple testifying the goodness of God. True salvation produces true fruits according to the power of God that works in us. To God be the glory.


Young Lavender is dancing like a semi-pro already... In fact, that's what I notice of the many who were on the dance floor... The skills are definitely increasingly in quantum leaps.
